President's Message

Dear esteemed members, donors, volunteers, and well wishers, As we gather today for our Annual General Meeting, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude reflecting on the remarkable journey of Love and Care India Trust over the past 18+ years. Our unwavering commitment to serving the deprived communities has led to transformative impact in the lives of thousands of underprivileged rural children, adolescent girls and boys, women, farmers, and elderly individuals. Through our multifaceted interventions, we have been able to bring hope, empowerment, and sustainable change to those who need it most. This achievement would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of our dedicated team, the trust and support of our donors, and the unwavering enthusiasm of our volunteers. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to each one of you for your contributions. As we look to the future, our resolve remains stronger than ever. We will continue to innovate, collaborate, and strive for excellence in our mission to uplift marginalized communities. Key highlights of our accomplishments over the past year include: 1. Conducted health awareness camps in rural areas, benefiting over 500 community members. Successfully sensitized 300 adolescent girls and women on menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, and nutrition. Distributed 4,000 informational pamphlets and resource materials on health and wellness. Organized 5 free health check-up camps, screening over 1,500 individuals for various health parameters. Provided free consultations and medications to 450 patients, including children, adults, and the elderly. Conducted 200 blood tests, 250 eye check-ups, and 150 dental screenings. Identified and referred 120 patients for further treatment and specialized care. Partnered with local hospitals to offer discounted diagnostic services and follow-up care.

Our impactful outcomes is we Recorded a 30% increase in health knowledge among camp participants. Saw a 25% reduction in anaemia cases among adolescent girls and women. Observed improved health-seeking behaviour among rural communities. Strengthened community-hospital linkages for continuum of care. As far as education is concern our scholarship to poor children brought smile on their faces developed self-confidence and interest in schooling. Through women empowerment programmes women took keen interest in self-employment and are supporting own family with finances. Looking ahead, our focus areas for the upcoming year will be: • Expanding education initiatives by opening 25 Bal Vikas Sanskar Kendras in villages and remote slums. • Enhancing livelihood programmes for income generation to 250 young girls and women • strengthening community engagement for holistic development I take this opportunity to thanks our donors Saraswat Bank and Sitaram Jindal Foundation for their generous support. I thanks the trustees of Love And care India Trust for their guidance, support and cooperation in achieving our goal. My heartfelt thanks to the stake holders for their trust on us. My dedicated staff and the volunteers who on many occasions worked hard till late night. Thank you for your steadfast support.
